Lead comprehensive psychological evaluations identifying student needs and disabilities through expert assessment in our cutting-edge virtual education platform. We're seeking an experienced school psychologist who excels at conducting thorough evaluations supporting eligibility determinations.
Position Details
Conduct psychological evaluations for approximately 35-45 students monthly, working 35.5 hours in our virtual assessment system. Your evaluation expertise will identify learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and emotional disturbances through comprehensive assessment batteries.
Comprehensive Evaluation Services
- Administer cognitive assessments using WISC-V, WAIS-IV, and other measures
- Conduct academic achievement testing across all domains
- Complete behavioral and social-emotional assessments
- Evaluate for autism spectrum disorders and ADHD
- Assess adaptive behavior and functional skills
- Document comprehensive case histories
- Generate detailed evaluation reports with recommendations
Assessment and Reporting
- Score and interpret assessment results identifying patterns
- Integrate multiple data sources for diagnostic conclusions
- Write comprehensive reports meeting legal requirements
- Present findings in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Explain results to parents in understandable manner
- Collaborate with educational teams on programming
- Maintain compliance with evaluation timelines
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in School Psychology
- Active New Mexico School Psychologist license
- 2+ years of experience conducting evaluations
- Expertise in psychological assessment and interpretation
- Strong knowledge of special education eligibility
- Experience with virtual assessment administration
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
